The promo video for Turmoil plays across the screen. The video is highlighted by several events that’s lead up to tonight, clips Kingpin and Trek, clips of Bak Fu and Brian Lee, clips of Crimson and Twinky McLanahan and of course, clips of SPUNK and X-ANDER showcasing their actions that bring us to the main event. Bodies may be broken, titles may be lost but one thing is for sure, turmoil will felt by all…
Camera’s now pan across the jam-packed Madison Square Garden in New York City. Fans are showing up in masses with their signs, the stage is lit up by an awe of fireworks and after a minute of ear deafening pyro the sounds of “I Am” by Dope echoes through the PA system. Camera spins around the arena a couple more times before stopping at the announcers table where Cross and DeMarco await.
[Cross]: Good evening C-CWA fans and welcome to Turmoil! I’m Brian Cross alongside my broadcast colleague James DeMarco as we get ready for the biggest event of 2004 yet! 10 amazing matches booked tonight with all 6 C-CWA championships on the line. DeMarco, what can we expect to see tonight?
[DeMarco]: What do you mean what can we expect? Don’t you go to any of the meetings anymore?
[Cross]: No, that’s not what I meant…
[DeMarco]: That’s okay Cross; I’ll cover for you as always… we start off with some heated rivalries as of late, Radcial Ryan will take on Jimmy Waters in a singles match. Rubin Demota and James Mason make their PPV debut as the face off. The Women’s championship will be on the line in a first for the ladies, Akira Blaze will challenge Jenny McLanahan in a 2 out of 3 falls match.
[Cross]: That’s right DeMarco, also tonight we see Venom put his Junior Weight championship on the line against not only Virus but Juan Leche in a 3 way dance. Tranzfusion and Jay Rudawa look to defend their Tag Team championship against the up and coming team of Blood Gladiator and Blood Samurai known as Insane Blood Riot. Let’s not forget the match between Bak Fu and Brian Lee, pin falls will count anywhere in this one. Fu has to have revenge on the mind after the attacks from Team Violence.
[DeMarco]: In another “slobber knocker”, former M-DWF superstars will battle inside the gruelling death match cage as Trek puts his Death Match championship against Kingpin. You know, even thought the M-DWF shut it’s door’s these guys still get that cult following with them, I just don’t get it.
[Cross]: In another first for the C-CWA, Crimson and Twinky McLanahan will battle in a First Blood match. Twinky was the first to score “first blood” this past Inferno with the aid of a lead pipe; will we see the same thing tonight?
[DeMarco]: Also tonight we get to find out who Ross Cowan will be defending his Prime Time TV championship against. Let me remind you that this will be Cowan’s v7 defence; will he be able to break the old PTTV? Speculation is running wild on who it is, there’s mentions of Kurt Angle to Jesus Christ himself!
[Cross]: And finally in the main event, X-ANDER puts his World Heavyweight championship on the line against SPUNK. There’s no time limit on this one fans, we’re going to stay here as long as it takes until we have a winner.
[DeMarco]: As long as I make it for final call, let these guys fight all they want Cross.
[Cross]: Anyway fans, enough from us… enjoy the show!
