Backstage we find Sykopath putting the finishing touches on his ring-gear as he snaps the last snap on his mask, and tightens the ties. He looks at the mirror slowly gazing over his worn out body. "I need a break..... a long break.." gently breaths from his mouth as he grabs a nearby michrophone and checks the battery. He clips it back together and heads out of the door of his generic dressing room. As he walks down the hallways he says hello to familiar crew members, friends, and family of current superstars. "Stem" by Crossbreed hits the P.A. with force as Sykopath walks out onto the stage with less than ecstatic emotion and energy. He makes his way down to the ring and slides in. After he reaches his feet and dusts off, he puts the mic to his lips and the music fades.
[Syko]: Ladies and Gentlemen.... I have an announcement to make. Through my illustrious career here, I've done some amazing things, seen some amazing matches, and participated in some amazing events with my fellow superstars. Unfortunately my body is beginning to show the wear of the ring and the road.
[DeMarco]: He can't be serious... is he?
[Cross]: We don't even know what he's going to say... just.. hold on.
[Syko]: I've done quite a few sick and demented things in my time, but this my friends will be the most bizarre and unexpected one. In my age, of who knows how old... I've seen and done many things that some people will never accomplish their whole lives. I may be 30, or just 24, I can't remember for the life of me. And I wish I could, and this is what it's about......
[Cross]: DeMarco.... I lied... I think we all know what he's going to say.... and I don't want to hear it.
[DeMarco]: As scared of the big freak I am... I agree. I don't want to hear this.
[Syko]: Ladies and Gentlemen... I'm sorry, but I'm leaving the Cross-Continental Wrestling Alliance.
The crowd fills with boo's and negative feedback, a couple people are cheering, but they're already way past drunk...
[Syko]: This is very hard for me to do, and I really am sorry.
[Cross]: Sykopath himself is a little hardened to do it, he seems like he's holding back a lot of emotion, so he can keep his composure and leave as a man.
[DeMarco]: If I were him, I wouldn't have it any other way either. Nothing uglier than a big man crying like a baby...
Cross smacks DeMarco.
[Cross]: Grow up. This is serious man.
[Syko]: *chuckles a little* Ya know. I remember the days I started out here. I was pretty lame. I was beaten by a guy who got his name from some comic book. And he didn't even match the character! But looks like I straightened up pretty quick, as Twinky MacLanahan came along... he was my first real victory. And my best feud.
Clips of Sykopath's past moments play over the Cowantron as he talks.
[Syko]: I've been the bottom of the barrel and I've been C-CWA champion. The King. But my real home was in the cage. That's where I belonged. I was the King of the Cage. I defeated Apocalypse. I did a lot in that cage. I humiliated Deadbody Man on several occasions, and then.... my time came. It was time to move on, Black Knight returned for a short period of time, and I was done as champion. Soon after Viper aquired the championship which I desperately sought to recapture. However, it wasn't meant to be. Viper defeated me twice, and moved on. Now it's time for Sykopath to do the same. I don't know who I am in reality. I can't remember my real name. I don't know where I was born, who I was as a child, where I got these ideas, abilities... any of it. I don't even remember how f****ng old I am. That's wrong. I need to know. I want to know, and this is how I'm doing it. I must leave the C-CWA, and I don't know for how long. But I want to start a new journey and find out who I am, who I was... and what I want to become. I may never come back, but I know in my heart that the C-CWA will always be special to me. I hope one day that I come back stronger, more determined. I'll miss you all... and I hope you'll remember me when I'm gone.
[Cross]: This sucks... this always sucks, because so many people are leaving. This job won't be the same, but time's change and people do to...
[DeMarco]: Was this in the writing? Because if it was... I would have had it edited out... this does suck, and I'm amazed we agree on that for once.
[Syko]: Now hit my music, and show me some love, because once I hit behind those curtains, I won't be coming back for a long time.
Stem hits the P.A. again louded than usual, but is still drowned out by the cheers and hollars of the crowd. Sykopath drops the mic in the center of the ring, and takes his mask off. The fans see his face again, and cheer louder. He drops the mask over the mic and hops of the the ring. He jumps into the crowd who almost mobs him with pictures hugs and slaps on the back. A few people are crying, who Syko hugs. He yells out things to the crowd which makes them even more crazy. He hops back over the barricade and begins walking up the ramp to the curtain. He looks at the crowd one last time and raises his hands up as high as they can go and actually begins tearing up himself. Sykopath drops his hands and wipes his eyes, he turns to go backstage and !!WHAM!! CHAIR SHOT TO THE FACE!!!
[DeMarco]: Someone just LEVELED Sykopath with that chair!!!
Crimson walks out from behind the curtain.... laughing and smiling. He smashes the chair into Sykopath again and the crowd starts giving him more heat than a dog during mating season.
[Cross]: HOLY DHIY! IT'S CRIMSON!!! CRIMSON THAT BASTARD JUST DESTROYED SYKOPATH WITH THAT VICIOUS CHAIR SHOT!!!!
Sykopath writhes as Crimson continues the beating.... shot after shot, the crowd becomes more and more enraged at him. Cans, bottles, and even SHOES are flying at Crimson and spit is being flung as well. Crimson grabs a random mic from his pocket and looks down at Sykopath, still holding the chair...
[Crimson]: I just wanted to say goodbye in my own special way... BROTHER! NOW GO TO HELL AND STAY THERE!!
Crimson bends the chair over Sykopath's head again, Sykopath bleeding profusely from multiple orrafices, God-given or otherwise. Crimson finally drops the chair, and begins to drag Sykopath to his feet by his now bloodied purple hair. Crimson grabs Sykopath in a 3/4 headlock and DROPS Sykopath with a Crimson Cutter, Straight onto the chair.
[DeMarco and Cross and Crowd]: HOLY DHIY!!!
[DeMarco]: CRIMSON HAS LOST CONTROL!! HE JUST CRIMSON CUTTERED SYKOPATH ONTO THAT STEEL CHAIR!!
[Cross]: And it sounds like he wants Sykopath gone for Good! He even called him Brother, nodding to the Blood Brothers, which ended in bitter rivalry! Crimson may be going completely psychotic here, he just ruined Sykopath's farwell....
[DeMarco]: Does this mean no after party? Tonight?
[Cross]: Yes DeMarco... yes it does. Somebody call some Goddamned EMT'S!!!
Crimson gets up laughing at Sykopath, who's blacked out on the stage.... EMT's rush to his aid, but Crimson starts to beat them off as well. Soon officials and security guards rush in and subdue Crimson as Sykopath is finally reached by the nurses and doctors. Fade to Black...
