The EMT’s rush the scene just as Apoc puts the final boots to Syko. DBM calls for a mic:
[DBM]: Have I made myself clear yet? Have I gotten my point across? Tell me something C-CWA.....when will it stop? How many people must suffer? Because I'm an unstoppable force of destruction....and I won't stop....until you all bow down. Each week, more blood will be shed, more bones will be broken. Either way, I will rule this fed. Whether it consists of fearful servants or a bloody mass of destroyed flesh and bones makes no difference.....
We fade to black, but the scene remains. The lights have gone out, but for a brief moment, they flash on the stage, and a large figure holding a distinct looking cruisifix is outlined. When all is dark again, we hear the whispers in the crowd, quickly spreading all over the arena. The lights cut back on, and Deadbody Man stands in the ring as before. It appears nothing has changed, just something to get DBM's attention, and it looks like it has. Deadbody Man drops the mic, and climbs out of the ring. He walks up the ramp, and tosses the curtain out of his way. At that moment, a sickening crunch is heard, and Deadbody Man stumbles backward on the ramp! The Word steps out onto the ramp, holding his cruisifix. Deadbody Man stands still, watching The Word. Suddenly the lights go out again, but a spotlight remains on Deadbody Man. DBM peer's through the darkness surrounding him, as it always does, struggling to see clearly. In the light swings a large wooden cross, and the same sickening sound as it smacks into Deadbody Man's head. Deadbody falls to one knee, but already he's struggling up, lashing out at anything he see's moving. The spotlight remains on him, while the rest of the arena is wrapped in darkness. Blood slowly trickles from a cut above his eyebrow, and he takes a moment to whip it off, though all it does is smear accross his forehead. Suddenly, from in the darkness, a light. Not just any light, a fire flares to life, a fire on the end of a cruisifix, and DBM's eyes go wide, while the collective breath of the crowd is caught in the tension. The fire swings, but Deadbody man raises his hand to block it. Another smack, and Deadbody Man stumbles holding his arm. The fire is thrust once quickly into Deadbody Man's face, not long enough to do any real damage, but long enough to hurt. With the quickness the cross is pulled back into the dark, the fire is extinguished. Deadbody Man stands, barely, prepared for the next attack, snarling. The feeling of helplessness isn't something he's use too.
Finally the lights flicker back on, and DBM is the only one of the ramp.

Scene opens with C-CWA Action Plus reporter Barry Wood power walking down
a hallway backstage.
[Wood]: Barry Wood here, about to catch a word with Hando the King of Frogs and the Spicy One, Curry Man. In mere seconds they face Devon Worth and Puppet with a chance to win the Torando Tag Team Championships.
Barry comes up on the door to the Amphibiously Spicy locker room, and pushes the door open. Hando and Curry sit at a table, with amber glass bottles in hand. When they spot Barry, their jaws hit the floor and they quickly hide the evidence.
[Curry]: Oh.....uhh....hey Wood.
[Hando]: Barry....whatcha....uhh.....doin' here?
[Wood]: Well, I came to get a word with you about your match tonight.
[Hando]: Match?
Curry kicks Hando under the table.
[Hando]: Oh yeah, the MATCH! Well why didn't you just say so then?
[Wood]: I did!
[Hando]: Really?
Curry kicks him again and gives him the evil eye.
[Curry]: Act NATURAL!!
[Hando]: Oh yeah, natural, right.
[Wood]: What the hell is going on? You have quite possibly the biggest match of your life in front of you! What's your problem?
[Curry]: What are you accusing us of Wood?
[Wood]: What were those bottles?
[Hando]: Bottles...hehe....what bottles?
About that time, Hando drops his bottle. It shatters all over the floor, and you can see the Duff logo.
[Wood]: DRINKING?!? You prepare for your match by drinking?!
[Hando]: Hey, it worked for Scott Hall didn't it........or was that the taser?
Curry with yet another kick in the shins, and the two hang their head in shame.
[Curry]: The gig's up dude. You caught us Wood. We were drinking.....performance enhancing beer!
[Wood]: What the.....
[Curry]: Duff's still pretty tore up about M-D's passing, and he needed
something to dull the pain. Regular Duff just wouln't do, and neither would Fly or Curry Duff. So he created something new: F*ck you up Duff.
Curry pulls his bottle from behind his back and points to the label. Sure enough it says F*ck you up.
[Hando]: It's 101% alcohol by volume. Duff Man gets so drunk he totally
forgets about the little dude for a couple hours. We thought maybe if we got our hands on some it might give us a better chance of winning. I mean, how can you get pinned when you don't feel any pain? We'd be invincible! But.......it just wouldn't be right.
[Curry]: Yeah, you're right man! We don't need beer to win our matches. We'll just win those belts the old fashioned way, with cold turkey ass kicking!
[Hando]:
RIIIIIIIIIIBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hando and Curry slap high fives and run out towards the ring.
