…Camera’s cut to the centre of the ring. The red carpet is out, the desk is set up and a clipboard with a pen attached to it lies on the centre. Barry Wood comes out to some generic rock music with microphone in hand. He steps into the ring and addresses the audience.
[Wood]: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, it is my honour to deliver to you tonight the contract signing of The Great Masuta vs. SPUNK for the World Heavyweight championship which will take place in this very ring next week. So lets not waste anymore time and bring these superstars out.
…The Great Masuta is first to come out to the ring, a mixed reaction from the crowd but he comes down with a confident look on his face. He slides into the ring, takes a moment to trash talk with some of the fans at front row and proceeds to one side of the table. SPUNK’s music hits and the World Heavyweight champion comes out to a huge ovation from the crowd. SPUNK steps onto the apron and both men lock eyes, not once taking them off each other. SPUNK hoists the belt towards the crowd and proceeds to the other side of the table.
[Wood]: Alright, both of you have received a copy of the contract already. You should be familiar with it, just sign where your suppose to sign and lets make this official.
…The Great Masuta is first to sign, he signs the paper and not once takes his eyes off of SPUNK. Woos now passes the pen to SPUNK for him to sign. SPUNK takes a look at the crowd then at Masuta, he goes to sign but stops. He stands back up; Masuta is pacing on the other side. He goes to sign one more time but stops midway, perhaps trying to get under the nerves of Masuta. SPUNK then goes to sign for the third time and finally follows through with it.
[Wood]: There you have it folks, SPUNK vs. The Great Masuta for the World…
…Just then Masuta picks up the table and flips it over. SPUNK and Masuta are nose to nose in the centre of the ring. Wood is in the middle trying to separate these two but they’re not going to wait. Masuta takes a swing at SPUNK and SPUNK comes back with his own. Fists of fire in the centre of the ring as personnel run down as quick as the can to separate these two. The fans boo heavily as they have SPUNK and Masuta in separate corners. Camera’s fade to commercial.
